Meet Our Team!

Sarah Mayer

Hi, I’m Sarah Mayer — a Bryn Mawr biology grad, EMT, and lifelong animal person who somehow found a way to blend human medicine with pet care in the best possible way. II’ve always had one foot in human medicine and the other in the animal world, so pet sitting became the perfect blend of the two.I bring my emergency medical training into every visit — staying calm, observant, and ready for anything — while still giving your pets all the love, treats, and attention they expect. I’m CPR and First Aid certified for both dogs and cats, with specialized training in: Dogs: bite-wound management, bleeding emergencies, blood-sugar crises, CPR, heat-related emergencies, and shock. Cats: bleeding emergencies, CPR, cardiac issues, heat-related crises, poisoning, and urinary blockages. I also have extensive hands-on experience administering medications, injections, insulin, infusions, and managing complex medical cases and strict dietary needs. Medical pets, seniors, anxious pets — I’ve handled them all, and I treat every single animal with patience, compassion, and absolute attention to detail. When I’m not caring for clients’ pets, I’m usually with my own crew: my two tuxedo cats, Lucy and Oreo, and my beagle/pointer mix, Abby. And if I’m not with them, I’m probably exploring local gems — cafés, bookstores, museums, farmers markets, antique shops — anywhere with character. Every pet has their own story, their own personality, and their own needs. I honor that. My goal is simple: make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and genuinely understood while you’re away.

Jaymz Lacey-Holly

Hey, I’m Jaymz Lacey-Holly — firefighter, EMT student, veterinary technician student at Bucks, and the guy who somehow ends up with every shy or anxious dog choosing me as their person within minutes. I’ve always had a natural pull with animals. They trust me fast, they follow me everywhere, and they relax around me in a way people have been telling me for years I should turn into a career… so I did. Now I’m studying in the Veterinary Technician program while using everything I’ve learned in fire, EMS, and animal medicine to give pets the safest and most supportive care possible. I’m CPR and First Aid certified for animals, and I’m trained in: Dogs: bite wounds, bleeding emergencies, blood sugar issues, CPR, heat-related emergencies, shock Cats: bleeding emergencies, CPR, cardiac issues, heat-related events, poisoning, urinary blockages I specialize in medical care, exercise, mobility work, and nutrition, especially for big breeds and high-energy dogs. I have personal experience with St. Bernards, German Shepherds, and other large dogs, and I’ve spent years working around farm animals after training and helping on local farms. When I’m not with clients’ pets, I’m usually taking care of my own crew — 5 dogs, 7 cats, a bird, and chickens — or out on duty at the fire company. Off-duty, you’ll find me at the gym, in a café, or gaming. Whether your pet needs medical support, structured exercise, a confident handler, or someone who understands big personalities and bigger bodies, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and fully understood.
